Roy Kennedy

Being the go to for all things editorial with family, friends, colleagues and classmates, I've pretty much been a copyeditor for most of my life. Making it official was just the icing on the cake. From sci-fict to sci-fact, my proficiency in both science and literature allows me to edit all from article to manuscript, paper to dissertation and speech to presentation, with ESL (English as a Second Language) authors being secure in the knowledge that my experience helping those from all over produce the native English prose means their work is in good hands.

As a member of both ACES (American Copy Editors Society) and EFA (Editorial Freelancers Association), I'm always up to date with trends, changes and best practices in a rapidly evolving language and its use in ever expanding media. I'm UCSD (University of California San Diego) certified and well versed in both CMOS (The Chicago Manual of Style) and AP (Associated Press) style guides.
